our mission
We are a Canine Enrichment Center! This means we focus diligently on giving our dogs both mental and physical stimulation throughout the day. We focus on regulating group behavior with positive reinforcement. We use tools like treats, slip leads, and using our bodies to interact with the dogs appropriately. We do an abundance of group activities, such as group sit & lay, group "leave it", the "name game", toy time, and much more. We are the number one choice for dog schooling!

Amanda Ayers
Meet Amanda!
Co-Founder and General Manager of The K-9 District.
Amanda currently has 3.5 years of professional dog care experience.
She is our main photographer here at The K9.
She has her "Intro to Being a Dog Trainer Certification”.
She was a foster with Stray Haven and volunteer puppy raiser with Freedom Guide Dog.
Amanda is passionate about dogs and becoming more knowledgeable. Currently her experience is in regulating group play, bathing, nails and much more!

Autumn Mae
Meet Autumn! Aka Panda!
CEO and Co-Founder of The K-9 District.
Autumn has 3 years of professional dog care experience.
She is a certified AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator as of June 2023.
She has her "Intro to Being a Dog Trainer Certification”.
She is currently enrolled in Animal Behavior College to obtain her Basic Obedience Dog Trainer Certification.
Her experience is in directing proper play manners, group enrichment, bathing, nails & more! She's always had a passion for animals and she will never stop expanding her knowledge.

Destini Sweet
Meet Destini! Aka Gingy!
She is our Senior Staff K9 Teacher.
She officially has over 2 years of professional dog care experience.
Currently her experience is in directing proper play manners, group enrichment, bathing, nails & more!
Her other interests include learning more about horses.
She has a husky puppy named Max, who she has been training at home! Gingy has always shown a love for dogs and it shows through her work here at The K9.

Adriana Mastronardi
Meet Adriana! Aka Ad!
She is one of our K9 Teachers! She worked for another daycare prior to joining our team at The K9 in July of 2023! She has over 2 years of professional dog care experience. She helps run our PupK program and has additional experience with group enrichment, directing proper play manners within group, bathing, nail trims,& more!
Ad has two dogs that she started bringing to The K9. Her beauceron, Tecova, and her chocolate lab, Rex!
We are so happy to have Ad a part of our team. We cannot wait to see what the future holds for us.

They have expansive paw knowledge and professionalism with the doggie parents and the doggies. They truly LOVE what they do and make it look effortless!! My personal experience has been wonderful with my newly adopted Pitbull mix from the BC Humane Society. She had just arrived from a Georgia shelter. Maggie suffered from a pretty good case of separation anxiety and had no idea what a dog toy was, nor what to do with it. Thanks to K-9, I am excited to share Maggie's separation anxiety is no more AND now has two special toys she loves. Her ball, which she now retrieves and returns as well as a stuffed giraffe we affectionately refer to as her "baby". I give all the credit to K-9 and their training!
